To place an order on our website, use our secure on-line shopping cart and enter your shipping, billing, and credit card information. You can go to your cart at any time by clicking the “Shopping Cart” link near the top of every page.

We want you to be 100% happy with any chess products purchased from us, or we refuse to accept your money!

If you are not satisfied with an item, for any reason or no reason, please return it within 30 days of the purchase date for an exchange or full refund of the purchase price, less shipping charges.

Returns
We will accept returns for exchange or refund within 30 days of the purchase date. If you need to return or exchange something, please send an email with information about what you are returning or exchanging to returns [@] alphachesssets.com.

Refunds will be for the purchase price minus the shipping charges. Your money will be credited back to your card after we receive the item you’re returning and assure that it is in good condition.

There is no restocking fee for items that are returned to us in good condition. However, if the returned item is damaged, a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. The amount of the restocking fee will depend on the damage and will range from 50% to 100% of the purchase price.

If your item is damaged or defective when you receive it, please keep the box it came in along with all packing materials and contact us immediately at returns [@] alphachesssets.com. We will send you a label to use to ship the item back to us so that we can replace it for you.

Shipping Info/Delivery Time
We pay for your shipping on all orders that are over $100.00 USD!

At this time, we only take orders that are shipped and billed to the United States or Canada.

If you choose free shipping, your order will be shipped via FedEx Ground, via USPS Priority Mail, or via any other carrier we determine is needed to get your package to you in a timely manner.

Orders will usually ship within 1-3 business days from the time your order is confirmed.

Typically, orders going to the continental US and Canada will ship via FedEx. Orders going to Hawaii, Alaska, and US military (APO and FPO) addresses will ship via USPS regular mail.

Faster shipping is available in case you need your order by a specific date.

For those orders that use FedEx, shipping charges are calculated automatically in the shopping cart and vary by weight and destination. Please note that FedEx will not ship to P.O. Boxes.

For those orders that use the USPS, shipping charges are not automatically calculated. If you would like a USPS shipping quote, please contact us at shipping [@] alphachesssets.com.

Sales Tax
Sales tax will only be assessed for orders that are billed to or shipped to an address in the state of Mississippi (7%).

Order Cancellations & Modifications
Orders may be cancelled or modified for any reason. However, if a cancelled order has already shipped, the refund will be for the purchase price minus the shipping charges. To cancel or modify an order, please send an email to support [@] alphachesssets.com.

Backorders
If an item you ordered is out of stock, then you will receive notice via email or telephone that the item is on backorder. You will then be given a choice of waiting for us to restock the item, exchanging it for another item, or cancelling the order and receiving a refund.

Order Tracking
If your order ships via FedEx, you will receive an email with a tracking number and corresponding link that you can use to track your package.

Chess Piece Replacement
For any chess set that is bought from us, we will replace chess pieces as needed over time for a nominal charge. The charge per piece depends on the set the piece goes with. Please contact us at support [@] alphachesssets.com to use this service.
